David
Di Tivoli.
Creative Partner. Identity systems, editorial direction, and the long form — the half of the studio that holds the line on craft.
If your aunt can't read it, we rewrite it.
Identity, editorial, everything print.
The creative side of the studio
David leads identity work, editorial direction, motion supervision and the long-form output — the parts of the studio that translate Angelo's strategy into something a reader can hold in their hands. Wordmarks, brand systems, member magazines, annual reports, monographs.
How he works
Quietly. Few decks. The first deliverable on most engagements is a printed proof, not a Figma file. He'd rather kill a typeface in week two than defend it in year three. He runs the studio's design crit on Fridays — three pieces of work, three readers, plain English, no jargon.
What he won't do
Logos as standalone deliverables. Generative AI as a brand voice. "Refreshes" that are really redesigns. Identities that the in-house team can't run without us still in the slack a year later.
Working on an identity?
Wordmarks, systems, the guidelines book. David reads identity briefs personally — usually with a printed sample in hand.
